Who is uswebworx.com? USwebworx belongs to an awesome guy name Clay Thornton, a “normal”, typical, tech driven and most of all Christian and follower of Jesus! Yes you read that right, I am a Christian, that doesn’t mean I am perfect it does mean I am a sinner and it does mean I make MISTAKES, but it also means as long as I believe Jesus rose from the dead to save my sins I will go to heaven and God gave me the knowledge to be a web designer and I will strive to work the correct and honest way for you each and every day, you will always get to talk to me when you contact me as I am the only employee, my wife does assist with billing and social media though, but I am a Single Member LLC and I work hard to make sure you the customer is always happy, feel free to ask me any question and I will answer it honestly, if I don’t know I can find the answer.
I do have 3 sub contractors
- Programmer, busier than me but does great work, Pennsylvania Based
- Tech team (Various areas)
- Social media team (me via TSM – Coming Soon)
- Web design team
- Web hosting team
- Search Engine Marketing
Many more make up the team we call USwebworx but as an owner I am the only Employee, confused yet? We will explain in the terms that the listed above are sub contractors and you will deal directly with Clay Thornton on every need, this way there is no confusion!
USWebworx began in 2001 as a dream, it took 5 years to become a reality, that is what small business is all about, striving to be the best while striving to eat and take care of family. This is the reason I am generous with my work load, I try not work 1 on 1 with everyone, sometimes I get overwhelmed, I am human. In 2006 when Circuit City closed and I was an employee there I decided right then and there I never wanted to work for someone other than God, so my awesome wife and I met with preacher of our church and prayed about it, 2006 was when USwebworx was really born and the dream was becoming a reality, I started with very little capital but refused to take loans and place us in debt. I am proud to say in 2016 10 years later I am still debt free business wise.
Fast Forward to present day, I currently reside in Madison, Ms. I have about 45 clients under my belt and 1 employee plus my wife assisting when she can.
Of those 45 clients 10 are monthly clients, 10 are quarterly and the rest are as needed and each is just as important as the other.
